MotoLogix Library 2.1.0 brings a couple of new features such as servofloat, search and powerful math calculations.
2.1.0
New features
The long awaited servofloat and search allow more advanced applications and can help you to reduce cycle times. Whether you are palletizing or loading CNC machines, these features open new opportunities.
Also make sure to take a look at the new math functions. Don’t let these matrices scare you – we included a few practical examples to get you started.
Improvements
We added a few status signals to monitor the MotoLogix interface.
These give you insight on the load and latency of your system.
It can help you to determine the setting for the communication watchdog on
slower systems (parameter S3C 1380
).
Furthermore, we polished some function block interfaces and fixed a few bugs.
A noticeable one is the PercentComplete
which stopped working since Library
2.0.0
on Big endian systems (e.g. Siemens S7-1500).
CIFX board
We added the new CIFX 50E-RE PCIe board to the fieldbus setup. This board is used on YRC1000 and YRC1000micro controllers and supports several fieldbus protocols. At the moment of writing it supports PROFINET and VARAN, but more protocols will be added in future system software releases.
